CODE OF CONDUCT

Alchemist + Co. believes that how a business operates is part of what it creates.

This Code of Conduct establishes the standards we expect within our own operations and from the suppliers, contractors, service providers, and other partners with whom we choose to work.

Ethical Conduct

We expect business to be conducted honestly, responsibly, and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Fraud, bribery, corruption, deceptive business practices, and other forms of unlawful or unethical conduct are not acceptable.

Respect + Fair Treatment

Every person should be treated with dignity and respect.

We do not tolerate discrimination, harassment, abuse, intimidation, or other forms of inappropriate treatment. We expect our business partners to maintain working environments consistent with applicable employment and labor laws.

Forced + Child Labor

Alchemist + Co. does not knowingly support or conduct business with organizations that use forced, trafficked, indentured, or involuntary labor.

Child labor must not be used in violation of applicable laws governing minimum working age and employment.

Health + Safety

Working environments should be safe, sanitary, and appropriate for the work being performed.

Business partners are expected to comply with applicable workplace health and safety requirements and take reasonable measures to protect workers from preventable hazards.

Environmental Responsibility

We expect applicable environmental laws and regulations to be observed.

Within our own operations, we aim to make considered decisions regarding materials, production, packaging, and waste while recognizing that responsible practices should evolve as better options and information become available.

Responsible Business Relationships

We value business relationships built on transparency, reliability, and mutual accountability.

Suppliers and partners are expected to provide accurate information about the products, materials, and services they provide and to conduct their operations in a manner consistent with applicable legal and ethical standards.

Compliance

We recognize that businesses vary considerably in size, geography, and operational structure. This Code is intended to establish fundamental expectations rather than prescribe a single method of compliance.

If Alchemist + Co. becomes aware of conduct that materially conflicts with these standards, we may seek additional information, request corrective action, or reconsider the applicable business relationship.

Our Standard

We do not expect responsibility to be static.

As Alchemist + Co. grows, we will continue evaluating our practices, partnerships, and standards with the expectation that growth should increase accountability rather than diminish it.
