Fragrance was chosen deliberately. Scent has an unusual relationship with recognition. It can make a memory immediate, shift the perception of space, or bring attention to something before the conscious mind has found language for it. Lexicon brings these two forms of recognition together: an idea that can be named and a fragrance through which it can be experienced. There is no prescribed order. No intended progression.
