Aries is the first sign, carrying the instinct to begin before certainty has time to form. It moves with conviction, trusting momentum where others hesitate. The same force that initiates can also overwhelm, mistaking speed for clarity and action for safety. The one who reaches the finish before asking where the race began. The wound that learned to move first because standing still once meant being left behind.

The zodiac is often used as a language of identification. - The less flattering expressions are more often explained away. Archetype begins with the latter.
Each fragrance examines the shadow expression of one of the twelve signs: the recognizable trait carried beyond its societal mask. Independence becomes isolation. Diplomacy becomes self-abandonment. Comfort becomes attachment. Drive becomes aggression.
The intention isn't to define a person by a sign, nor to divide personality neatly into twelve categories. The sign provides the framework. The pattern is human.
Fragrance gives each archetype a physical vocabulary. Notes are composed not simply by olfactory experience, but to interpret the tension within the profile: restraint and excess, attraction and discomfort, familiarity and contradiction.

Editor's Note
Combustion leaves little behind. A burned match becomes an artifact of a decision that cannot be reversed, preserving only the evidence of its own transformation. It becomes a study in initiation, asking whether action always begins with intention.
