A study of capacity. The point where possibility becomes participation. Threshold observes the moment change is no longer imagined from a distance, but entered through choice. Interpreted through hinoki cypress, lily of the valley, and pale woods.
A study of named observations.
Some experiences are recognized before they're articulated. - A pattern becomes visible, or a threshold crossed. Something unnamed.
Each Study gives language to one of these observations and interprets it through scent. Throughline considers recognition. Threshold considers forward movement. Witness considers detached observation. And our house focus - Pattern - the study of coherence.
Fragrance was chosen deliberately. Scent has an unusual relationship with recognition. It can make a memory immediate, shift the perception of space, or bring attention to something before the conscious mind has found language for it. Lexicon brings these two forms of recognition together: an idea that can be named and a fragrance through which it can be experienced. There is no prescribed order. No intended progression. No promise that recognition must become resolution. Let's simply begin with what we recognize.

The Study
The doors stand open without instruction or ceremony. Nothing asks to be entered, yet nothing prevents it. Threshold reminds us that change rarely arrives through force. More often, it begins when what was once inaccessible quietly becomes available.
