A study of capacity. The point where possibility becomes participation. Threshold observes the moment change is no longer imagined from a distance, but entered through choice. Interpreted through hinoki cypress, lily of the valley, and pale woods.

My first Alchemist + Co. candle. The description is what sold me, but the scent is even better in person. The hinoki comes through first for me and then it gets softer and slightly floral as it burns. It's understated but you definitely notice when it's in the room.

Very beautiful and much softer than I expected. I was hoping for a little more projection, but I actually ended up appreciating how subtle it is. I keep this one in my bedroom.

Smells like clean air and wood without being overly fresh. There's something really calming about it, especially once it's been burning for a while.

I bought Threshold without knowing what hinoki smelled like and now I understand the obsession. It's woody but still light and almost airy. Definitely one I'll reorder.

There's something about this scent that makes my apartment feel quieter. Not in a spa candle kind of way. It just smells clean, woody and incredibly peaceful.
