On choosing
The 8oz suits a bedroom, a desk, or a bath. Closer quarters, a more intimate throw. The 16oz carries through a living space, or suits a Study you intend to return to often.
On burning
On the first light, allow the wax to melt fully to the edge of the vessel, about two to three hours. This sets the surface for every burn after. Trim the wick to ¼ inch before each lighting. Burn no longer than four hours at a time.
A study of inquiry. The thread connecting what once felt unrelated. Throughline observes the quiet relationships beneath experience, memory, and change, revealing the coherence that only becomes visible with time. Interpreted through damp earth, green fig, and cooling embers.
Lexicon
A study of named observations.
Some experiences are recognized before they are articulated. A pattern becomes visible. A threshold is crossed. Something remains unnamed.
Each Study gives language to one of these observations and interprets it through scent, chosen deliberately. Scent can make a memory immediate, or bring attention to something before the mind has found words for it.
There is no prescribed order. No promise that recognition must become resolution. Begin with what you recognize.

The Study
A single line holds its course while others cross, diverge, and disappear beyond the frame. Throughline asks us to notice the continuity beneath what first appears separate—to trace the quiet connection between moments, choices, and events that seem unrelated.
