Where do we plant
We have teamed up with GoodAPI to plant Mangrove trees in coastal regions around the world including Kenya and Indonesia. Mangroves are unique ecosystems found throughout a wide range in the tropics and occupying the intertidal areas of more than 120 countries. Mangroves, and coastal wetlands in general, are globally important for the many services they provide to humans and the planet. These services include protection against storm surges, sheltering nurseries for fish and other marine life, providing building materials, and providing critically important services to stabilizing the global climate as an important store of carbon.
Small Actions, Big Impact
Sustainability Starts With Us
At Alchemist + Co, we believe every purchase should leave the world better than we found it. That’s why we’ve partnered with The Good API to plant trees and remove plastic waste with every order. With each candle you bring into your space, you're not just elevating your rituals—you’re actively contributing to a cleaner, greener planet. Thoughtful choices, meaningful change.

Removing ocean bound plastics
We have partnered with Plastic Bank to remove ocean bound plastics and support local communities. Read below to see how our work support UN Sustainable Development Goals to build a better and more sustainable future for all.
Removing Ocean Bound plastics support marine ecosystem
Stopping plastic from within 50km of an ocean-bound waterway or coastline reduces its likelihood from flowing into the ocean. This in turn helps to protect marine life, microorganisms, and endangered species from plastic pollution.
By using recycled plastics, we reduce CO2 emissions
Each step in the plastics life cycle — extraction, transport, manufacture and disposal — emits massive amounts of greenhouse gases, mostly CO2.. Ocean Bound plastic is turned into plastic feedstock which enables a circular economy and reduces need for virgin plastic material
