Our Approach
Scent is personal.
If your candle or ritual product is not the right fit for your space, we accept eligible returns and exchanges on unused items within 14 days of delivery.
Eligible returns and exchanges may be requested directly through your customer account using our self-service return portal.
Return Eligibility
To qualify for a return or exchange:
- items must be unused
- products must be returned in original condition
- original packaging must be included
- return requests must be submitted within 14 days of delivery
Due to the handcrafted nature of our collections, we reserve the right to refuse returns that show visible signs of use, damage, alteration, or excessive wear.
Exchanges and Store Credit
Lightly burned candles may be eligible for exchange or store credit on a case-by-case basis.
Requests involving lightly used products are reviewed individually and may require photographs prior to approval.
Approved exchanges and store credits are issued at the discretion of Alchemist + Co.
Non-returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return:
- final sale items
- gift cards
- heavily used or burned products
- products returned without original packaging
- products damaged through misuse or improper care
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at studio@alchemistand.co with:
- your order number
- photographs of the packaging
- photographs of the item(s)
Approved claims may qualify for replacement, exchange, or store credit.
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
Processing Time
Once a return is received and inspected, approved refunds or store credits are typically processed within 5–10 business days.
Refund timing may vary depending on your financial institution or payment provider.
Self=Service Returns
Eligible customers may initiate returns directly through their customer account.
