Our days are often moving from one demand to the next, rarely pausing long enough to notice the state we've been carrying. Stress accumulates gradually. Tension becomes familiar. Eventually, what feels overwhelming can begin to feel normal.

The body often knows it needs rest long before the mind is willing to slow down.

Palo Santo is often associated with clearing, purification, and release. While those traditions remain part of its history, many people return to the scent for a different reason. Not because they are trying to remove something, but because they are seeking a sense of steadiness.

Part of that response may be environmental. Fragrance has the ability to influence how a space feels before we consciously register the change ourselves. Certain scents seem to soften the edges of a room, creating an atmosphere that feels slower, quieter, and less demanding. The shift is often subtle, but noticeable.

Palo Santo, guaiac wood, and grounding herbs create that kind of environment. The woods remain at the center of the experience, while softer notes emerge gradually as the fragrance settles into the space. Rather than commanding attention, the scent unfolds slowly, allowing the room to feel more settled over time.

Perhaps that is why so many people return to Palo Santo during periods of stress. Not because it changes what is happening around us, but because it reminds us that we do not have to move at the same speed as everything demanding our attention.

Burn Time + Scent Throw

8oz Single Wick Candle

Our candles are formulated with elevated fragrance concentrations within industry safety standards. Due to the nature of fragrance composition, scent performance, cold throw, and hot throw may vary slightly between fragrances and vessel sizes.

Care + Maintenance

Trim the wick to 1/4” before each lighting to support a cleaner, more even burn. During the first burn, allow the wax to melt fully across the surface to help prevent tunneling and preserve the integrity of the fragrance over time.

Burn on a stable, heat-safe surface away from drafts, curtains, or open windows. To maintain the atmosphere and craftsmanship of the candle, avoid burning for longer than 4 hours at a time.

Discontinue use when 1/2” of wax remains. Once finished, the vessel can be cleaned and repurposed within your space or daily rituals.

Material Integrity

Finished with consciously sourced materials, reusable vessels, and low-waste packaging practices. Ritual candles are topped with wild-harvested botanicals and ethically sourced crystals selected to complement the atmosphere of each scent.

Poured into reusable amber glass vessels designed for warmth and quiet presence within the home. Finished with steel lids for preservation between rituals.

Crafted using a coco apricot wax blend with natural cotton wicks for a clean, even burn.

8 oz vessels feature a single wick for smaller spaces and softer scent diffusion, while 16 oz vessels are poured with double wicks for broader atmospheric throw and more even burn performance.

Crafted with fragrance oils infused with essential oils and formulated to meet our highest standards for atmospheric integrity. Developed without phthalates, organ toxins, acute toxins, CMRs, or ingredients listed under California Prop 65.
